ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Critical Care Unit (CCU) team. The ideal candidate will possess critical thinking abilities, be self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 16
- Patient Ratios: 2:1, at times 3:1
- Staffing Description: MT, with occasional tech support depending on census
- Type of Equipment: Impella, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, Hemodynamic monitoring
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling Requirements: 36 hours weekly
- Floating Policy: Float in rotation with core staffing
Patient Experience Requirements
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS
Hiring Profile
Requested Skill Set
- Must Have: Critical thinking, self-motivated
- Advanced Skills Needed: Central line insertions, dialysis catheter insertions
Dress Code
Scrubs of any color; denim, capris, or camo are not permitted.
Unit Guidelines and Policies
Unit-specific policies and guidelines available upon request.

- Participated in making blankets for hospice patients.
- Daisy Award implemented by Critical Care RN.
