Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ER Registered Nurse in Milford, CT. This position is specifically for winter coverage for a 10-week contract, with local radius restrictions waived for this assignment. Candidates must start by 12/04/2026, and no holiday requests for time off (RTO) will be accepted. Additionally, no more than 5 days of RTO will be allowed.
Position: ER RN
Shift: 3x12 NIGHTS (19:00 - 07:30)
Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience required. First-time travelers are welcome.
Weekend Requirement: Must work every other weekend.
Floating: Will float if needed.
Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC.
Work Setting Experience: General Emergency Department - Combined Adult/Pedi. Experience with management of dysrhythmias is required.
IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills: Central line care/management, starting and maintaining IVs.
Medication Experience: IV vasopressors.
Respiratory Skills/Experience: CPAP/BiPAP, ventilated patients.
Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation precautions, triage.
Facility Type: Short-term acute care hospital with a total of 426 staffed beds, designated as a Level II Trauma Center. Local facility within the Yale New Haven Health System.
