Join our team as an ER Holding Registered Nurse at a leading acute-care hospital in Albuquerque, NM. We are seeking dedicated RNs to provide exceptional care in our fast-paced Adult Admission Inpatient Unit, which functions as an admission unit adjacent to the Emergency Department. This is a contract position with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage dysrhythmias, and operate various medical equipment.
• Provide care to a diverse patient population, ensuring adherence to the inpatient standard of care.
• Handle frequent patient admissions and transfers, maintaining a ratio of 1 RN to 4-5 patients.
• Be prepared to float to the ICU for sub-acute care assignments and any inpatient progressive care unit areas as needed.
• Relief charge responsibilities may be required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications are required.
• COVID vaccination is required; religious and medical exemptions accepted with proper documentation.
• No locals within 100 miles will be accepted.
• Pending licenses are accepted.
