As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in urgent and critical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, ensuring the highest standards of care are met.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, demonstrating effective decision-making and critical thinking skills.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting any changes in condition or treatment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
- Current Massachusetts RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- COVID-19 vaccination required.
