Join our team as an ER Registered Nurse in New London, CT, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care in the Emergency Department. This position requires RNs to be cross-trained as both ED psychiatric and main ED nurses. You will primarily be scheduled in the psychiatric area but may float to the main ED if volumes are low. Our facility is a short-term acute care center and a Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds.
As an ER Registered Nurse, you will care for patients with a variety of medical and psychiatric diagnoses across all ages. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, PALS, and TNCC. Candidates can apply with certifications pending, and a minimum of 2 years of experience is required. Epic experience is also necessary for this role.
