Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ER Registered Nurse in Seattle, WA. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic Emergency Department (ER) setting, where you will provide critical care to patients experiencing a variety of medical emergencies.
Position Details:
- Shift: 3x12 Variable Floating (Night 19:00 - 07:30, Day 07:00 - 19:00)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekend Requirements: At least every other weekend, may vary based on department needs
Requirements:
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
- Experience with general ED cases such as sepsis, AMI, respiratory issues, abdominal pain, bone fractures, heart failure, chest pain, stroke, etc.
- Ability to manage psychiatric cases, including involuntary status, medical psych, restraints, seclusion, and voluntary status
- 10% pediatrics experience required
- Skills: Breathing Treatments, Chest Tube Set-up/Care, CPAP/BiPap, RSI - Rapid Sequence Intubation, Trach Care, Cardioversion/Defibrillation, Warming Blanket
- Ability to obtain 12 Lead EKG, manage drains, feeding tubes, PICC/Central Lines, Port-A-Cath/Vascular Device Access/Care, Syringe Pumps, Triple Lumen Catheter
