Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care / ICU – Wisconsin

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 8 or 12-hour rotations, 1900-0730, with every other weekend and some holidays. 4x12 and weekend block scheduling options available. Approximately 6-7 weekend shifts per contract period.

• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• 3:1 patient ratio for both day and night shifts
• 28 hours of orientation provided to support successful onboarding
• Flexible scheduling options with opportunities for block scheduling

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state license
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience with at least 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in critical care specialty
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Competency across multiple ICU specialties (Neuro ICU, CVICU, Burn ICU, Trauma, MSICU)
• Basic arrhythmia experience and ability to pass telemetry examination prior to start (80% passing score required with specific criteria for lethal rhythms and heart blocks)
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, CRRT, vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, and care of high-acuity patient populations
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must reside 50+ miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
