Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, no weekends, no call required. Daily census of 20-25 patients. Flexibility to float within facility and scope of practice as needed.
Highlights:
- Focus on discharge planning, care coordination, and utilization management for adult and geriatric populations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate level of care and monitor length of stay
- Work with Medicare regulatory guidelines, including patient choice, IMM notices, and MOONS
- Apply clinical expertise using InterQual and Milliman criteria for concurrent and retrospective reviews
- Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or call requirements
- Contract-based assignment with competitive compensation package
Requirements:
- Active Georgia RN license or Compact license required at time of application
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required; previous travel experience strongly preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience with discharge planning, care coordination, and utilization review processes
- Knowledge of CMS guidelines, ICD-10 coding, DRG, and medical necessity determinations
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical charting systems
- First-time travelers not accepted for this position
- Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
