We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for a 10-week contract position in New Haven, CT. This role is specifically for winter coverage, with local radius restrictions waived for this assignment. The start date for this position is 11/20/2026, and we require no holiday requests for time off (RTO) and a maximum of 5 days RTO.
As a Behavioral Health RN, you will need to have at least 2 years of experience in the field. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The position requires floating between three units across two campuses, so flexibility is essential. You will be expected to work at both the main campus and the adjacent campus.
Requirements include active BCLS and CPI certifications, and your nursing license must be active before the start date. This short-term acute care position is located in a Level I trauma center with a total of 1,567 staffed beds. Scrub color is royal blue, and charting is done using Epic. Please note that parking costs $125/month.
