Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee nursing operations and ensure high-quality patient care at a rehabilitation facility in Concord, NH. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and experience managing nursing teams in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing operations and clinical services.
- Supervise, guide, and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
- Ensure quality patient care and compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor patient care plans.
- Manage staffing schedules, staff performance, and training.
- Monitor clinical documentation, infection control, and patient safety practices.
- Collaborate with physicians, administrators, patients, and families.
- Support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Previous nursing leadership or Director of Nursing experience preferred.
- Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care settings.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and nursing standards.
- PointClickCare (PCC) experience preferred.
Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Previous nursing leadership or Director of Nursing experience preferred. Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care settings.
