We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Director of Surgical Services for a contract opportunity on the day shift. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing surgical services while supporting high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and the advancement of the surgical caseload.
The ideal candidate will have strong perioperative experience, proven leadership experience, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and a strong understanding of AORN standards and recommended practices.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) qualification.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- CNOR certification required.
- 3–5 years of proven perioperative experience.
- 3–5 years of proven practical leadership experience.
- Experience demonstrating measurable/quantifiable accomplishments in advancing surgical caseload.
- Advanced-level experience with current clinical technology.
- Practical knowledge of information technology.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Experience with AORN standards and recommended practices.
