Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in the Cath Lab to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cardiac procedures and be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Shift Notes

• Schedule: 4x10s, Monday through Friday, with a random day off during the week.
• Holiday Rotation: Required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed.
• On Call Requirements: 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend, from 7:30 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday.
• Floating: Must be willing to float across multiple locations within the region as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of current Cath Lab experience.
• Experience with structural heart procedures is highly preferred.
• Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) preferred.
• Travel experience is advantageous.
• Scrubbing experience is preferred.
• Required experience in circulating and monitoring during procedures.
• Trauma Level II experience is essential; Trauma Level I experience is preferred.

Certification Requirements

• Active Iowa or compact multistate nursing license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA or ARC.

Additional Information

The candidate must have proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR), specifically EPIC. Candidates will be expected to precept as needed. This is a full-time position, and employees may be required to provide coverage across all related units in the assigned locations.
