• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Schedule: 3x12 daytime schedule; weekend coverage and holiday coverage may be expected
• Float: May float to observation units and emergency department boarding patients as needed
• Setting: Adult telemetry, observation, and ED boarding environment

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1.5 years of telemetry nursing or related specialty experience required
• Prior travel RN experience required
• Active Kentucky RN license or compact RN license required at submission
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with pre-cardiac cath patients and managing ports required
• Strong clinical background caring for adult telemetry, observation, and inpatient-level boarding patients
• Must be available for a day-shift schedule and able to support weekend coverage expectations

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for adult telemetry and observation patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Care for ED boarders and observation patients requiring inpatient-level nursing support
• Manage ports, IV therapies, and cardiac-related patient care needs
• Support patients with pre- and post-cardiac catheterization needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver efficient, patient-centered care
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain compliance with unit procedures
• Adapt to float needs across observation and ED boarding areas as required
