RN – Cardiac Telemetry

Augusta, GA

Start Date: November 30, 2026
Contract: 14 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 3x12 | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Telemetry RN experience.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Active GA or Compact RN license required at submission.
• Epic experience required.
• BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS preferred.
• Previous Charge Nurse experience preferred.
• Patient ratio: 1:5.
• Must be comfortable floating to other Cardiac Telemetry units or appropriate units as needed.

Required Clinical Skills:

• Strong cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation experience.
• Management of CHF, MI, chest pain, post-cardiac cath, and post-device implant patients.
• Cardiac and vasoactive drip management (NO TITRATION).
• Must independently manage the following drips:
  • Milrinone (Primacor)
  • Dobutamine (Dobutrex)
  • Amiodarone
  • Cardizem
  • Lidocaine
  • Bumex
  • Heparin
• Experience with pacemakers, temporary/permanent devices, and post-MI care.
• IV therapy, central lines, PICC lines, blood administration, and phlebotomy.
• Respiratory management, oxygen administration, BiPAP/CPAP, and tracheostomy care.
