Registered Nurse - ICU | Travel | Rockford, IL
Assignment Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our ICU units, including Medical Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, Step-Down ICU, and ICU. The ideal candidate will have ICU experience with a willingness to float to Medical Surgical if needed. Extensive cardiac experience is required.
Assignment Details
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2845.8 (negotiable)

Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures
- Document according to standards of care
- Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care according to individualized needs
- Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities
- Utilize clinical expertise to support patient's longitudinal plan of care
- Utilize critical thinking regarding patient safety and escalate as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- Current IL License
- Extensive Cardiac experience
- CPR Certification
- ACLS Certification
- NIHSS Certification
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; education verification required
