Job Opportunity – Pediatric Operating Room RN – Wisconsin
Start Date: November 16, 2026
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, 0700-1730, Monday through Friday with on-call responsibilities (weeknight on-call 1x per week Monday-Thursday, weekend on-call 1x every 6-8 weekends, holiday on-call as operationally needed)
Highlights:
- Pediatric OR specialization including ambulatory OR and pediatric trauma experience
- Kidney transplant experience required with regulatory charting for transplants
- Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
- Magnet-designated facility with Level I Pediatric Trauma Center capabilities
- Orientation provided with 32 hours of structured onboarding
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty required within last 3 years
Requirements:
- Active Wisconsin RN license or current Compact RN license
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
- PALS certification preferred
- 2+ years of recent pediatric OR experience including pedi trauma, ambulatory OR, and kidney transplant
- Experience with administration of blood and blood products
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Level I and Level II Trauma experience required
- Successful completion of pre-assignment telemetry testing with strict passing criteria
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Willingness to float as operationally needed
