Position/Unit Details

• General IMC
• 36 beds on R9, 12 beds on IMC side
• Level I Trauma facility
• Type of Patients on Unit: Respiratory, Medical Telemetry, some surgical, sepsis, DKA, Altered Mental Status, Failure to Thrive, Respiratory Failure, and most any acute on chronic medical condition.
• Equipment on Unit: Telemetry, BIPAP, Hi-Flow O2, Insulin drips for DKA protocol
• EMR: Epic

Candidate Requirements:

• 2 years PCU/IMC experience
• Successful completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment in tele acuity or higher
• Level I Trauma facility experience
• BLS, ACLS
• Personality Fit: Teamwork, flexibility, accountability/ takes ownership, good communication, patient-centered care, can-do attitude
