Contract | 4 x 10-hour shifts per week | 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM | Expected 40 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to patients recovering from surgical or procedural sedation
- Assess and manage patient pain, airway, hemodynamic stability, and level of consciousness in the PACU setting
- Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe patient transitions
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
Required Qualifications
- Active Compact or Georgia RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum of 18 months of PACU nursing experience
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Professional references available upon request (1 preferred)
- Experience in a high-volume or acute care PACU environment
