We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position at a leading acute-care hospital in Beaver Dam, WI. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.
The Operating Room RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Operating Room, with experience in General Surgery, Cataracts, Robotics, Orthopedics, and GYN procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room setting.
- Assist with surgical procedures and ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state of Wisconsin.
- BLS and ACLS certification (AHA only).
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience.
- Ability to work day shifts, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:00), with weekend call required (currently 1 in 4) and holidays as needed.
