Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Michigan
Start Date: November 9, 2026
Location: Saginaw, Michigan
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every 3rd weekend; no call requirement
Highlights:
- 13-week contract opportunity with a Level 2 Trauma facility
- Comprehensive case mix including Orthopedics, Vascular, Neuro, General/Gynecology, and Urology procedures
- Collaborative perioperative environment with opportunities for leadership and patient-centered care
- Participate in staff development, continuing education, and in-service training
- Predictable scheduling with every third weekend rotation and no on-call responsibilities
- Work within a multidisciplinary team supporting surgical patient safety and quality outcomes
Requirements:
- Active Michigan RN license (verified through LARA and/or Nursys)
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
- Level 2 Trauma experience required
- Proficiency in Orthopedic, Vascular, Neuro, General/Gynecology, and Urology surgical procedures required
- Recent travel work experience highly preferred
- Current skills checklist specific to Operating Room specialty (within 1 year)
- Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
- Candidates must provide permanent address for consideration (local radius restrictions may apply)
