Operating Room Nurse (OR) Springfield, MO. This role involves providing specialized perioperative patient care within a busy surgical environment. The position requires collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver safe, efficient surgical procedures in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Job Details
- Position: RN Operating Room, Springfield, MO
- Shift: Days, 4x10, 06:30 AM 05:00 PM, 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current RN License (eligible for licensure in Missouri or licensed in Missouri), BLS certification from the American Heart Association, 2 years of Level 1 or 2 Trauma experience, scrub and OR circulator experience, and experience working with vascular surgeons in OR and hybrid imaging suites.
- Preferred Qualifications: Level 1 trauma experience with multiple years of surgical background.
- Responsibilities: Assist vascular surgeons during procedures in the OR and hybrid imaging suite, collaborate with nurses and surgical techs for endo and open cases, utilize nursing processes to ensure patient safety, evaluate care provided, coordinate patient services with ancillary departments, and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
- Schedule: Days, 4x10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate human relations and communication skills, possess clinical expertise in surgical nursing, and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
