Job Summary
Surgical First Assistant Operating Room (First Assistant), Ft. Mohave, AZ. The Surgical First Assistant supports operative procedures across obstetrics, gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, ear, nose and throat, and podiatry. The role requires participation in a professional, collaborative perioperative team and regular call rotation.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Successful completion of a surgical first assistant training program; certification as a first assistant; at least 1 year of post-training experience; demonstrated ability to assist with obstetrics, gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, ear, nose and throat, and podiatry procedures.
- Schedule: Day shifts, MondayFriday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; 12-hour shift designation; minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Regular call rotation is required, including short-term call coverage. The role supports perioperative services and requires professional conduct, a pleasant affect, and use of surgical attire provided for procedural areas.
