Job Opportunity – OB Registered Nurse – Kansas
Start Date: November 30, 2026
Location: Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week, 8-week assignment. Holiday coverage required.
Highlights:
- Labor and delivery experience with a focus on receiving newborns in the delivery room
- No traditional on-call requirement – scheduled shifts only
- Cross-training opportunity with Medical-Surgical float coverage during low census periods
- Cerner EMR system in use
- Flexible scrub color policy
- Short-term, 8-week contract with structured scheduling
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Kansas (or compact state license)
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required
- Demonstrated delivery room experience, including receiving babies
- Previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience required for float coverage
