Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift Details
Shifts available are three 12-hour shifts or four 12-hour shifts during the night, from 1900 to 0730. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, subject to change based on the unit's needs.
Role Overview
The position involves providing care to inpatient adults with actual or potential life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions. The patient population may include those with common cardiovascular diagnoses such as sepsis, myocardial infarction (MI), unstable angina, and coronary artery disease. Additionally, patients may be receiving IV antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive infusions, and anticoagulation.

- Vasoactive drug administration
- Antiarrhythmic drug therapy
- Thrombolytic therapy
- Defibrillation/cardioversion
- Thoracentesis
- Cardiac telemetry monitoring
- EKG
- Non-invasive blood pressure monitoring
Qualifications
- Current South Carolina RN license
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year of EPIC experience
- 2 years of experience in a related field preferred; first-time travelers will be considered based on experience
Additional Information
All candidates must be willing to float to like units or other facilities based on operational needs.
