Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Psychiatric for a travel nursing job in Cincinnati, Ohio.

- Employment Type: Travel
- Shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
- Experience: 2 years of specialty experience required; minimum 1 year in a psychiatric setting. Pediatric experience is mandatory.
- Travel experience: 1 year required by CCHMC.
- Certifications: BLS and TCI. TCI training will be provided within the first month.
- License: Active Ohio or Compact RN license required at submission.
- Charting: Epic required by posting; Epic experience preferred in compliance details.
- Unit: Locked inpatient pediatric/adolescent psychiatric stabilization unit; 15 beds, ages 4–18.
- Patient ratio: 1:4.
- Patient population: Children and adolescents with bipolar disorder, depression, psychosis, ADHD, DMDD, aggression, autism, and moderate-to-severe intellectual disabilities.
- Clinical responsibilities: Medication administration, nursing assessments, therapeutic groups, safety checks, ADL assistance, de-escalation, crisis/code response, restraints, and 1:1 observation.
- Physical requirements: Must be able to lift 25 lbs and participate in physical holds/restraints.
- Preferred: Experience with eating disorders, anxiety, psychotic disorders, ABA training, and previous charge experience.
- Schedule: Every other weekend and holidays required. Block scheduling not guaranteed; weekend-only blocks (Friday–Sunday) may be requested.
