Hours: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Shift assignment will be determined during the interview.
Phoenix Children’s is seeking an experienced Pediatric CVICU RN for a travel assignment supporting pediatric critical care services. This assignment requires flexibility to float between NICU and PICU and may include floating among multiple Phoenix Children’s locations.
Possible Work Locations:
• Main Campus – 1919 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85016
• Arrowhead – 19007 N. 67th Ave., Glendale, AZ 85308
• Avondale – 1665 N. Avondale Blvd., Avondale, AZ 85392
• East Valley – 3370 S. Mercy Rd., Gilbert, AZ 85297
Position Overview:
The RN works collaboratively with the healthcare team, patient, and family to promote optimal patient outcomes through the delivery of professional nursing care. Care is provided based on the patient’s age, condition, established nursing and medical plans of care, evidence-based practice standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
Experience Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Pediatric CVICU
• Previous experience floating between NICU and PICU required
• Level III or Level IV NICU experience strongly preferred
• Children’s hospital experience preferred
Education:
• ADN, BSN, or Diploma in Nursing accepted
Licensure & Certifications:
• Active Arizona RN license OR compact RN license with multistate privileges; must meet Arizona licensure requirements prior to start
• Current AHA BLS required
• Current AHA PALS required
• NRP preferred
Important Scheduling Information:
Only RTO discussed during the interview will be considered pre-approved. Candidates must be comfortable floating between units and locations based on facility needs.
