Job Summary
Pediatric Nurse - Pediatric Floor, located at a healthcare facility, is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to meet the physical, developmental, and psychosocial needs of young patients.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, BLS certification, 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting or similar specialty, and related training and education
- Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, formulating and implementing care plans, documenting care and responses, providing evidence-based care, and participating in professional development activities.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing and professional certification
- Additional Information: The role may involve supervising staff and work flow within the department. The position interacts with all levels of staff, patients, families, and external contacts concerning patient care and safety.
