Tele/PCU Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Tele/PCU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a travel assignment. This position involves providing nursing care for patients in a telemetry and progressive care unit setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor patients' vital signs and manage cardiac telemetry.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Respond to changes in patient condition, taking appropriate action.
- Document patient care and treatment accurately and thoroughly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Float within scope to meet facility needs as required.
Schedule Details
- Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30).
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
- Block scheduling is open to accommodation upon approval based on unit needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Telemetry or Progressive Care Unit.
- Current RN license in Pennsylvania or a Multi-State/Compact RN license.
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Additional Information
- Local candidates are not accepted; a radius restriction of 50 miles applies.
- All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission and will be subject to approval based on facility needs.
