Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Step Down care. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care within the assigned unit scope of practice, adhering to established hospital policies, procedures, and nursing standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high standards of practice.
- Participate in patient education to promote health and wellness.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Document patient care findings, interventions, and outcomes appropriately.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of step down experience.
- Strong proficiency in cardiac care.
- Willingness to float to different units when necessary.
- Travel experience is preferred.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- Active nursing license in the state of Michigan at the time of submission.
Shift Information
Shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM with a 36-hour guarantee. Every other weekend availability is required.
