Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This position involves working 12-hour shifts with weekends and holidays as part of a rotating schedule. The role may require floating between multiple locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
- Manage and interpret dysrhythmias.
- Provide peripheral line care and management, including PICC line management.
- Titrate drips according to physician orders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers are welcome.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications are mandatory.
- Experience in cardiac telemetry is required.
- Must have experience with PCU patient ratios of 1:5.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
Additional Information
Floating between various locations may be required based on patient needs. Candidates should be flexible and willing to adapt to changing environments.
