Job Summary (List Format):
- Role: PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) RN Traveler, member of interdisciplinary team
- Location: UnityPoint Health – St. Luke’s, Sioux City, IA (Level 3 Trauma Center)
- Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
- Patient Ratios: 1:2
- Floating: Required to float to ICU once per week (resource only, not primary care), may float within local campuses
- Schedule:
- NBO: 16 hours
- Orientation Dates: 10/12, 10/26
- Billable Overtime:
- 36-40 hrs/week, OT after 40
- 48 hrs/week, OT after 48
- OT/Holiday Rate: 1.15x
- Call Back Rate: 1.5x, 2-hr minimum
- On Call Pay: $9/hr
- Charge/Precept Pay: $6/hr
- EMR System: EPIC
- Certification Requirements:
- Active Iowa or Compact RN license
- BLS (AHA, ARC, or US Military)
- ACLS (AHA, ARC, or US Military)
- PALS (AHA, ARC, or US Military)
- Documentation Requirements:
- Work history
- PACU-specific skills checklist
- 1 supervisory reference (within last 2 years)
- Valid driver’s license
- Nursys verification
- Employee Separation Policy: UPH FTE/PRN staff cannot work travel in another market within 12 months; not applicable to prior travelers
- Local Radius Rule: No locals; must reside at least 50 miles from facility (DL verification)

Med Ninjas Job ID #16525. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
