Registered Nurse (RN) | Outpatient Infusion

Seeking an experienced, chemotherapy-certified RN for the Outpatient Infusion Unit, providing care to adult and geriatric patients.
Position Highlights:
- Schedule: 5x8-hour day shifts.
- Local and travel candidates accepted; 75-mile radius rule applies.
- Patient population: Adult and geriatric.
- Common diagnoses include oncology, neurological conditions, anemia, and gastrointestinal disorders.
- EMR and systems: Epic, Omnicell, and Ascom.
- Equipment: Alaris and elastomeric infusion pumps.
Key Duties:
- Administer infusion therapies and chemotherapy according to treatment plans.
- Assess patients before, during, and after infusion procedures.
- Administer blood products and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Operate infusion pumps and document treatments accurately.
- Coordinate care and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Maintain patient safety in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of outpatient infusion nursing experience.
- Chemotherapy certification required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients.
- Ability to administer blood products and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to float as required.
Patterns Hiring Job ID #AN-1902---1020. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
