Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor registered nurses (RNs) are sought for a night shift position in a healthcare facility. This role involves utilizing nursing expertise to provide comprehensive patient care, administer medications, document patient information, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and safety during overnight hours.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current Illinois nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, graduation from an accredited nursing program with education verification, and no prior experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical-surgical or orthopedic nursing is advantageous.
- Additional Information: The RN will utilize clinical expertise to develop and execute patient care plans, document according to standards of care, and participate in departmental performance improvement activities. Critical thinking and escalation skills in patient safety are essential.
