Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience and previous travel experience. This position involves working in a 29-bed unit that provides comprehensive care to adult and geriatric orthopedic patients, as well as medical-surgical patients. The unit offers telemetry monitoring and has a physical therapy gym, enabling patients to receive essential therapies without leaving the unit.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts
- Shift Timing: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
- No on-call responsibilities
- Float as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to a variety of patients, including those who have undergone total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties.
- Manage care for moderate volume patient populations involving other surgical procedures, as well as inpatient and 24-hour observation medical patients.
- Perform Charge RN duties as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- Previous travel experience is required.
- BLS certification required.
- Charge RN experience is mandatory.
