Registered Nurse - Operating Room Circulator
This position is responsible for supporting surgical procedures as a circulator in the operating room. The role involves multi-tasking efficiently to ensure smooth and timely operations for various elective and emergency cases, including abdominal, thoracic, urology, ENT, plastic, orthopedics, vascular, and OB/GYN surgeries.
Position Summary
The ideal candidate will oversee the operations of the operating room, managing surgical cases, and coordinating surgical teams. You will be required to utilize after-hour call services to staff the operating rooms for nights, holidays, and weekends as needed. If you have extensive experience as a circulator in the OR, we welcome your application.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (BSN or ADN)
- High school diploma or GED
- A valid, current, full, and unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an OR circulator
Additional Qualifications
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Experience in Critical Access Hospitals and/or Rural Operating Rooms strongly preferred
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position requiring four 10-hour shifts from Tuesday to Friday. Holiday coverage is also required.
