Job Summary (List Format):
- Work 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (8:00 am – 6:30 pm), with required call coverage.
- Weekend/Call Requirements: 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days per month for call, possibly more depending on department needs.
- May be required to float to other facilities and provide call coverage as needed.
- Primary focus on circulating for heavy Ortho, Urology, Spine, and Robotic procedures (RN must be able to circulate).
- Assess patients for mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Provide explanations and instructions to patients and their responsible parties.
- Use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
- Foster a healthy work environment through professional communication and conflict management.
- Meet core measure responsibilities related to patient care.
- Participate in ongoing continuing education.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
- Must hold a current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Must have current CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications; additional certifications (e.g., PALS, NRP) may be required depending on the unit.
