Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Description
Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse with specialized knowledge in Orthopedic and Neuro OR procedures. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience and a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures in the operating room setting.
- Provide direct care to patients through assessment, planning, and implementation of care during procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate in patient education and post-operative care.
Shift Information
- Schedule: Varied shifts, including weekends.
- Call requirements: Every 4-5th weekend and one weeknight per week.
- Holiday coverage is required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of OR experience, specifically in Orthopedic and Neuro procedures.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS.
- Ability to meet performance expectations and maintain professional standards.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
