Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program
- Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and quality patient-centered care in the operating room and other areas of perioperative services for diverse patient populations. Acting as a patient advocate, the RN will adhere to surgical nursing standards and maintain competencies in various nursing functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in and implement age-specific care and interactions.
- Complete departmental orientation and training.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members—including RN, LPN, NA, physicians, and ancillary services—in assessing patient and family needs.
- Conduct thorough head-to-toe assessments on all patients, with regular reassessments as per policy.
- Assess and manage pain effectively utilizing appropriate techniques.
- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care based on patient assessments and care plans.
- Provide leadership by coordinating with nursing and patient care personnel to uphold professional nursing standards within the clinical setting.

- Proficient knowledge of sterile techniques.
- Flexibility to manage multiple assignments and changing priorities.
