The Pre-Operative Registered Nurse (Pre-Op RN) is responsible for preparing patients for surgical and procedural interventions by conducting assessments, verifying medical history, administering medications, providing patient education, and ensuring all preoperative requirements are completed. The RN collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care throughout the perioperative process.
