Required Skills
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within RN scope of practice
- Strong patient and family education skills tailored to individual needs and treatment plans
- Comfort transcribing, utilizing, and implementing physician orders and established protocols
- Ability to coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team and appropriately delegate tasks to support staff
- Strong communication (verbal/written), organization, time management, and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work independently when needed
- Ability to recognize and protect confidential information; ethical and legal accountability in practice
- Prior experience in an inpatient or outpatient clinical setting
- Prior oncology nursing experience
- Comfort learning and using new computer software programs
Preferred Education and Experience
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Other Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Schedule: Days; full-time contract
