Required Skills
- Recent Emergency Department RN experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting
- Strong clinical judgment, prioritization, and rapid triage/assessment skills
- Comfort assisting with/participating in emergency procedures such as:
- STEMI response
- Stroke/TPA workflows
- RSI support
- Ability to maintain clear, timely documentation within the department’s EMR
- Team-first communication with RNs, ER techs, and unit support staff
Nice to Have Skills
- Strength in neuro and cardiac-focused emergency care
- Prior travel RN experience
- Experience in departments with similar patient flow and acuity expectations
Preferred Education and Experience
- Active RN license (unencumbered)
- At least 1 year of acute care experience within the last 2 calendar years, with experience aligned to the unit you’re being considered for
Other Requirements
- Contract length: 6 weeks
- Expected schedule: Midshift 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM
- Expected hours: 48 hours/week
- Certifications required (must be included at time of submission):
- BLS
- ACLS
- CPI
- TNCC
- ENPC or PALS
- Time-off/special scheduling requests: Not available for this assignment
- Work environment details:
- ED setting with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Approx. 12-bed department
