Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This position requires expertise in chemotherapy administration and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Night Shift, 3x12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30)
- Guaranteed Hours: 60 Hours per 2 Weeks
- Weekend Requirements: Coverage may be more frequent than every other weekend depending on staffing needs.
- Float Requirements: May float to like units as needed.
- Local Candidates: Not accepted; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid Alaska Registered Nurse license in hand for Auto Offer.
- 1 year of experience in a medical surgical oncology setting.
- Experience in chemotherapy administration is essential.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- ONS/ONCC certification is preferred.
Unit Information
This is a 5N Oncology unit that focuses on providing comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care to oncology patients. The team thrives on collaboration and excellence in care delivery.
