RN – OB (Obstetrics Acute)
📅 Start Date: ASAP
⏳ Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
🌙 Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
🕒 Schedule: 48 Hours/Week
🏥 Unit: Obstetrics Acute
Requirements & Certifications:
- Active California RN License.
- BLS Certification.
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS Certification.
- S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification.
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS Certification.
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Certification.
- EPIC experience is mandatory.
- BSN preferred.
- Acute care experience preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients.
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health conditions.
- Perform fetal heart monitoring and evaluate results.
- Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum patient care as assigned.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate and support patients and their families.
- Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EPIC.
- Ensure patient safety and follow hospital standards.

- Facility: Adventist Health Delano
- Hospital Size: 156-bed medical center.
- Service Area: Serves 10 rural Central California cities.
Additional Information:
- 13-week travel assignment.
- Night shift only.
- 36 or 48 hours per week available.
- Floating to Adventist Health Bakersfield is required as needed.
- EPIC experience is mandatory.
