Registered Nurse – Nursery / Special Care Nursery (SCN)
Location: Concord, New Hampshire
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3x12s | 36 Hours/Week
Contract: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Candidate Type: Local & Travel
Weekly Gross: $3,438
Regular Base hourly Rate: $57/hr. Taxable + $1386/ Weekly Stipend 

Requirements:

• 3–4 years of nursing experience
• At least 2 years of NICU or SCN experience required
• Previous NICU or Level II SCN experience required
• Postpartum experience preferred, but not required
• Cerner experience preferred, not required
• Must be comfortable assisting with deliveries
• Experience starting neonatal IVs preferred

Unit Details:

• 6-bed Special Care Nursery
• Typical census of 2–5 neonates
• Cares for infants 32 weeks and above
• Grower/feeder patients
• Nurses attend vaginal deliveries and C-sections
• Surfactant administration via LMA for appropriate candidates
• SCN is integrated with an 18-bed LDRP Labor & Delivery unit

Floating:

• May float to Postpartum or Pediatrics if needed
• Travelers will primarily work within their appropriate specialty
• Candidates without appropriate experience may assist as helping hands
