Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical Telemetry
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, manage telemetry monitoring, and ensure the safety and well-being of patients during their recovery process.
Shift Details
- 3x12-hour day shifts
- Shift hours: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and telemetry data.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health maintenance.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license.
- A minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry is required.
- Current certifications in AHA BLS and ACLS are required; candidates must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to starting.
- A recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the relevant specialty is required for submission.
Additional Information
During orientation, candidates will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment, achieving an acceptable score on both tests is mandatory to continue.
Shifts will be booked using Qualivis – Lotus for managing worked hours.
