Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Med/Surg unit. This position is primarily focused on adult patients, with some occasional pediatric care. The ideal candidate must be able to start as soon as possible, no later than 11/11.
Shift Information
- Night shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
- Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
- Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate exceptional patient care for adult and pediatric patients.
- Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care.
- Utilize the Nursing Process to make critical decisions in patient care.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to meet the unique needs of a diverse patient population.
- Ensure holistic care for patients, addressing their physical, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs with compassion and proficiency.
- Accountable to the Unit Director and collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor during shifts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience; preference for those with Meditech experience.
- Current RN licensure in Vermont or multi-state RN licensure.
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours and provide holiday coverage as required.
