Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Philadelphia, PA 19104
• Healthcare Setting: On-site medical-surgical telemetry unit
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000–$2,100
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: One holiday during the assignment
• Schedule Flexibility: Preference for availability across all three shifts throughout the assignment; requested time off will be considered

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of medical-surgical telemetry nursing experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Recent Epic electronic health record experience required
• Active Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Pennsylvania
• Ability to work every other weekend and one holiday during the assignment
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-care skills

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and changes in patient condition
• Assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other members of the care team
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and continuity of care
