Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) RN Nights This position is located in a healthcare facility on the organizations MS/Telemetry unit, providing specialized care for adult patients with various diagnoses including sepsis, UTI, AKI, pneumonia, and cholecystitis. The role involves monitoring cardiac activity and delivering comprehensive nursing services during night shifts, with an emphasis on patient safety and clinical excellence.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: RN license with active MD or Compact license, BLS, and NIHSS certifications; 1 year of experience preferred.
- Responsibilities include managing adult patient care, utilizing cardiac monitoring, administering medications and treatments, managing IVs, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, CPI (Certified in Crisis Prevention Institute).
- The unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration with IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services.
- Additional unit details include patient census of 29, rapid response team availability, and the need for floating within scope across units and sister facilities.
- Submission requires compliance documentation within five days of start date, with pre-employment labs and onboarding processes.
