Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg/Telemetry. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care primarily to adult and geriatric patients, focusing on telemetry and cardiac conditions.
Shift Details
- 12-hour night shifts
- 36 hours scheduled with 24 GWW
- Every other weekend requirement
- No on-call requirements
Unit Information
- Unit primarily consists of telemetry and cardiac patients
- 16 beds in the unit
- RN to patient ratio of 4:1
- Remote Tele Unit
- Expectations include interpreting, measuring, and documenting cardiac rhythms bi-shift
Qualifications
- MUST HAVE EPIC EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required
- Strong proficiency in working on Cardiac/Telemetry and Med-Surg units
- Previous travel experience is highly preferred
- Neuro/stroke experience is highly preferred
- Must be able to interpret, measure, and document cardiac rhythms comfortably
- Reliable with no attendance concerns; patient-oriented approach
- MUST have own transportation
Certification Requirements
- Current New York State License
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
Additional Information
All candidates must complete a non-billable orientation of 8 hours. Make sure to send any requested time off during the course of this assignment at the time of profile submission. Requests for time off after submission will not be accepted, and only a maximum of 5 days will be considered.
Dress code is personal scrubs of any color (no designs or cartoons, and no hoodies). All candidates must ensure compliance with medical and vaccination requirements before upload.
