Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Surgical Specialty unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Details
- 3x12 Hour Shifts: 07:00 - 19:30
- Weekend coverage every other weekend, subject to unit needs
- Floating to other units or facilities may be required as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Surgical Specialty unit
- Utilize the EPIC documentation system for accurate patient records
- Administer medications using the Omnicell medication system
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes effectively
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid RN license in South Carolina
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Telemetry or Medical-Surgical setting preferred
- Experience in Telemetry, ER Holding, or Cardiac Telemetry is a plus
- First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
Required Skills
- Proficient in using EPIC documentation system
- Experience with Omnicell medication management system
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
